Joint Personnel Control Jalan Bungur Raya

The joint personnel of Satpol PP, Transportation Sub-agency, Bina Marga, Water Resources, City Park and Forestry, as well as PPSU of Central Jakarta assisted by army and police personnel, controlled illegal parking and street vendors along Jalan Bungur Raya, Tuesday (8/19).

The controlling was led by Central Jakarta Assistant of Economy and Development, Bakwan Ferizan Ginting. He said that this controlling was run to reorganize the area along the market and Senen train station and restore pedestrian rights and comfort for other road users.

"The controlling aims to reorganize Jalan Bungur Raya to be useful for residents," he said.

He added that the controlling is also part of education for residents to obey the regulations.

"We appeal the vehicles to park inside the Senen Market," he added.

Meanwhile, Central Jakarta Satpol PP Head, TP Purba, explained the controlling involved 250 joint personnel.

He added that his party had socialized with street vendors not to occupy sidewalks and obstruct pedestrians.

"We told them not to sell their products on the sidewalk," he explained.
